When we moved V out of the crib and into the same bed with her sister, we had to come up with something for storage. I came across these wire cube storage things. I thought it would be good since it looks open and is light weight for moving.

We upgraded a bit when we found out how handy they would be.

And we added even more a short time later. And Mike actually used zip ties to make it a bit more stable, the little white circle things they had us using to put the things together kept popping out. So Mike zip tied them together, and then anchored them to the wall.
We have since run out of room again, mostly the girls books. So I went and picked up another set of the wire cubes, they don’t match the rest but oh well. We’re hoping we wont have to add more. The open cube on the far left is their dirty laundry basket. When its full it’s exactly one full load of laundry.

So tomorrow I’ll get to work on straightening it out. I didn’t have time tonight after Mike fixed them up. V is already upset that the ball popper is out of her reach. I will be very happy once the whole apartment is organized.

That’s such a cute idea! A lot of pink…but I guess since you have girls, that would work!
Me, on the other hand, would need a whole lot of blue!!

Yeah it worked out thats all the store had, pink or purple cube things to stuff the holes. This time around when I had to buy another set they wanted 4$ more for the all white wire, but the basic colors were less expensive. So we went that route lol. It doesn’t match but the girls don’t care and I highly doubt the stuff thats stacked into the thing cares either.

I think total we paid 80$ plus another 45$ for the fabric cubes.

That’s a great idea! We’ve got black and white wire cubes. I got frustrated when they would start to fall apart. May have to get them back out and go the zip tie route. I love the fabric cubes that you’ve got in there!
